do i have to?
02.02.06 (7:46 am)   [edit]
i can't tell the difference between a lemon and a lime, other than in size and colour. what is a lemon but an overgrown veryripe lime? they're both sour and pulpy and smell distinctly of dishwashing liquid. alright perhaps they taste a bit different, but that's not unlike with oranges. there's sweet and tart and inbetween. there's only 4 true tastes: sweet sour salty bitter. so everything else is simply smell and feel. if smell affects taste so much what wld happen if we poured tasteless perfume into food? is what we perceive reality? i have the loveliest mirror at home; it has a slimming effect. even the mirror lies! ok. i don't feel like writing anymore; my inspiration has all dried up. ohhh. i went to watch Fearless! it's about a chinese fighter, Huo Yuan Jia. haha i like his name - it sounds like a holiday resort. anyway it's nc16 and i'm so glad i'm old! it's one of the only benefits. it's ouchingly graphic though, and makes my bones feel weak just watching. and the worst part is that this is a true story. dramatised and romanticised of course. but still, true. i wanna learn martial arts! (my ballet dancer dreams have been put on hold. :p) but again, i'm too late. jet li retired at 17... :p man he's formidable too! their training, in the true chinese style, makes our training at peak period seem like the astronomy club. they must have inspired concentration camps! you live there, start your day at 6, train, breakfast, train, lunch, train, dinner, train, and sleep at 1030. i feel such a slacker! (and my wobbly tummy agrees) "oh you sprained your leg, and can't jog? ok, do a thousand sit ups." "oh your arm is broken? a thousand leg-lifts followed by a thousand squats." haha doesn't that sound familiar! same philosophy, intensified. :D http://www.jetli.com/jet/inde...
